Hello everyone,
Association member and translation contributor Maik „tapwag“ Wagner will be giving an introduction to the openMandriva project at the Ostfalia Campus (University of Applied Sciences) in Wolfsburg on 13 November 2014 at 19:00 pm German time.
The presentation is being held at the monthly WOBLUG (Wolfsburg Linux User Group) meeting. Wolfsburg is known as the capital of car manufacturer Volkswagen who have their headquarter there. Ostfalia Campus also offers courses on computer science and automation processes in the automotive industry.
Starting out as a UNIX-group, WOBLUG has been around for more than 14 years. Each month a certain topic is being adressed such as using Linux on the desktop, Content Management Systems as well as their users’ favourite applications. WOBLUG’s website can be found at: http://www.woblug.de
He will be introducing the aspect on how the openMandriva project is organised (mailing lists, IRC chat, Loomio etc.), how things like quality assurance using Bugzilla works as well as some aspects on his translation work. He will be bringing some presents we provided him with, so make sure you will be there!
Would love to make a presentation for your local Linux group or in your local university? Welcome! Please address us at join@openmandriva.org to discuss the details!
