Hey folks!
OpenMandriva members have elected the council (to be able to vote and influence things – apply for membership:), and yesterday council was agreeing on the bureau (president, treasurer, secretary).
In full consensus it was agreed that new OpenMandriva President becomes Colin Close (aka Itchka). As a head of QA team he every day shows the balanced character, wisdom, and deep knowledge of everything around distro – we are looking forward to OMA blooming further under his guidance;) 
Another great team member, the release manager Bero (Bernhard Rosenkränzer) becomes Colin’s right hand for development/technology issues as vice president. Chwido will be leading the processes, as usual;) (Chwido: front on the picture;) 
Raphaël Jadot (aka Ashledombos), who was the President since OMA was born till now, stays as a vice president to support Colin with all general and administrative issues.

The decision was also taken on administrative positions.
The treasurer is a very important role in the association, and Jean-Claude Vanier (JCL), who was the treasurer for past years, was asked to continue. With his responsibility and attention to details we always have things in order:)
Kate Lebedeff continues her duties as the secretary of the association.
